Tom Crean Fish & Wine provides its customers with the highest quality food in a friendly and casual environment. We use the very best of locally sourced food and maintain relationships with the most reputable food suppliers in our local area.

Our exciting A La Carte menu includes daily specials. The restaurant serves fish predominantly but also caters for carnivores, herbivores and has steak, chicken on the menu. Coeliacs are also catered for. You can select your lobster and oysters straight from the tank. We have one private function room and the Ice Bar available for groups. Ice Bar

The Ice Bar is our latest addition – it’s an Irish Craft Ale & Wine Bar. Join us just for a  drink or choose from our bar menu.   We source craft ales from as near as possible.  On draught we have Lon Dubh from 9 White Deer Brewery Ballyvourney, this is a porter and goes well with oysters.  We contracted our own Expedition Red Ale (would have been popular in Tom Crean’s time) from Torc Brewery, Coolcashlagh, Killarney and an Americian IPA also from Torc.  We stock All-Ireland Gold Medal Winning cider Johnny Fall Down from Cork.  Silver Medal lager Achill produced on Achill Island. We have a host of craft ales, gluten free and ciders.  We have a beautiful cider from Longueville House Mallow plus “Longueville Mor (big) – a cider with brandy, 8%. The Ice Bar  is decorated with images and memorabilia from the life of Ireland’s most famous Antarctic explorer, my grandfather.

Mews Courtyard

The Mews Courtyard at Tom Crean Fish & Wine is the perfect destination for al Fresco dining, available for private parties, bar-b-q or weddings. Fitted out with chunky wooden tables and comfortable chairs, this is the ideal place to enjoy a relaxed meal. Sit under the trees with a glass of fine wine and your evening is complete. Hard to believe you’re in the town in this haven of peace.
